UMI X2 Launched with Quad-Core Processor, 5-inch 1080p Display in India [Price, Features and Specification]

The another Chinese smartphone maker UMI has launched it’s flagship smartphone the UMI X2 for Indian consumers which joins the 5 inches 1080p display club, and is set to be released in India for Rs. 14,000 (~$260). This would be a big competitor of other competitively priced device in the country, the Micromax Canvas HD with same specifications but lacks 1080p (has 720p display).

UMI X2 - Specification and Price

Besides the sharp display, it comes with 1.2 GHz MediaTek MTK6589 Quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX544 Graphics card and runs runs on Android OS, v4.1 (Jelly Bean) out-of-the box and the company promises an update to Android OS, v4.2 (Jelly Bean) by April 2013.
