HTC Announced New Android Smartphone One with UltraPixel Camera and 1080p Display [Specification, Features and Price]

HTC has finally revealed their new flagship Android smartphone HTC One. It has 4.7 inches Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen (1080 x 1920 pixels and 469ppi) should be able to match the image quality of the Butterfly's unit. The HTC One powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor and runs on latest Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) with the new HTC Sense UI and HTC BlinkFeed and users can upgradable to 4.2 (Jelly Bean) later. But it will be really interesting to see how it matches up with the iPhone 5, Sony Xperia Z, Samsung S3 and other major smartphones.

The HTC One comes with own custom camera technology called “Ultrapixel,” which let in about 300% more light than normal sensors and a 2.1MP HD front-facing camera with 88 wide angle lens with HDR capability. It has made out of aluminum and is about 9.3 mm thick. It has stereo speakers at the front with impressive 93db loudness and a 2300 mAh non-removable battery. Also, its Power/Lock key on top is transparent and doubles as an IR port to control home equipment.

The HTC One will be available in over 85 countries and 185 carriers worldwide including USA's AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint; all major UK carriers and many more from March 2013. There is no mention of India, but that may be because it would be sold unlocked. No Official annoucement on the price yet.
