Tech Mahindra is one of the leading IT Services and Telecom Solutions providers in India developed an application called “FightBack” few year back which was being used only by the staff members of Mahindra Group. Now after the heinous gang-rape of a woman in New Delhi, Anand Mahindra is the Chairman and Managing Director of Mahindra has now thrown open this smartphone application for public use, beyond Mahindra employees, now the application is available only for an Indian Mobile users and its absolutely free, the app supports Nokia, Blackberry and Android Mobiles with above 2.0.

Crime against women's is increasing and the victims are unable to reach out to the masses for help. FightBack app for mobile is an unique solution that uses location based technology and enables user to fight back against crime and protect themselves in emergencies.

FightBack uses GPS, SMS, GPRS, E-Mail and Facebook account to inform your Friends or Relations in case you are in danger. The applcation will be functional only for registered users. The application requires Valid SIM of any networks in India and working GPRS connection.

Steps to Download the FightBack Application
  1. Go to this website www.fightbackmobile.com
  2. Register yourself or login through Facebook with Post click.
  3. After the successful Login in the portal, Click to Download.
  4. Enter the mobile number on which you want to deploy for the FightBack application.
  5. Select your handset on which you would like to download the application from the device list.
  6. Click on Download button, and you will receive the link to download via SMS.
  7. By clicking on the downloadable link within the received SMS your application will start downloading.
How to Use FightBack Application
  • FightBack is an application specially designed by CanvasM to enhance Women Safety, when the user launched this application, tracks user’s every movement through GPS(Global Positioning System) and sends location information to the server. 
  • The app allows the user to press on a panic button whenever he/she feels unsafe. sends SOS messages to selected contacts.
